“to” or “that”?
Should the slogan be:
1. Inspiring hearts that set kindness in motion
-or-
2. Inspiring hearts to set kindness in motion
What a dilemma.

What a slogan, huh? I think we are pretty happy with this one, or at least I am. It says it all in a very summed up sentence.
We are in the process of coming up with the catchy slogan that encompasses everything we do here at raktrak. Easier said than done. I think we have a couple good ideas that we can join and re-work to create something cool. Wish us luck.
Ok… we are running on the new system now and trying to work out the bugs. We know there are some missing images and possibly some broken links. Please use the new forum to post any problems you run into. Thank you for visiting RakTrak.com. Please tell your friends and family about it. We have so much in the works, I can’t wait to tell you more about it.
We will be converting the site over to our new system within the next 48 hours. This blog was always a temporary solution and we are very excited to launch some new community tools here at RakTrak.com. You will soon be able to tell the world about the random acts of kindness you have experienced in your life. What an awesome time of the year to share how good people truly are.
We were really hoping to get a donated EE license for our system. I understand they probably get a ton of requests for donations. Oh, well. I was hoping that would be the answer to a speedy launch. So… looks like it is going to be custom from the ground up. We have been working on the tracking system of course. It would basically plug into any framework/cms that we want to use. I just really like EE right now and thought they might want to help us change the world… ok, back to work.
Have a great afternoon and keep lifting others up.
So this is the new RakTrak.com design. I will keep blogging about our progress but know that behind the curtain there are many super awesome things going on. We will be rolling our some community stuff soon. Keep checking back often.
Comment below and let us know what you think of the new design.
Just spent the morning clearing trees, brush, and vines from a couples home. There was another team putting on a new roof and some cleaning and painting inside. I don’t know much about the family but the mom just had a baby at around 26 weeks. She had to stop working as a teacher and they needed some help. It makes me feel good to help. Even if they didn’t know I was there. God has blessed me with strength and I love to work hard to show others His love.
Time to sit in my chair, sip on some coffee and think about how my family has been blessed…
One of the first things you do when decorating for Christmas is drag out the Ol’ fake, smelly, Christmas tree, or go pic out a beauty at “Wal-Mart Farms”. Once you get all the branches fluffed, and the needles vacuumed off the floor that is just the beginning of something more magnificent.
What fun would it be if the decorating stopped there. Oh no… you have to string the tangled up lights and hang all the broken ornaments after you hot glue them back together. What a wonderful, glorious time (sarcasm). Sometimes it takes walking in someone else’s shoes to realize how important these moments really are.
Today has been a pretty good day. We had 3 basketball games to go to in the morning and a little birthday celebration to have at CiCi’s Pizza for my niece. We had an hour wait in between games, so my brother-in-law and I went to my Mother-in-laws (Nonni) house to hang some icicle lights without her knowing. It was a great adventure and we got back just in time to watch the last game. Nonni later got home and called my wife and was so excited that she had lights on her house. Needless to say, Moms always know who did it so there was no hiding it from her any more. She thanked us and told us that this is first time in her life that she has had lights on her house. We were amazed.
So a friend of mine was telling me about a difficult time he was going through. He said he had found a $20 Walmart gift card and was able to go buy some milk and cereal for his kids. I’ve been there. That sucks. So I went to Walmart and purchased a $100 gift card. I drove by his house a couple of times waiting for some of his neighbors to go inside. It was dark but the streetlights made it easy to see my black truck. So I finally decided to park a couple of houses down and sneek up to the front door. I left the card in a plastic sack and hung it on the door handle. I rang the doorbell and made a sprint back to the truck… the sound of my was like a marching band drum. One of my sandles seemed to get stuck to the pavement and I had to go back and get it. (No one gets left behind you know.) It felt like it took me 5 minutes to get back to my getaway vehicle. It wasn’t until I sat down that I noticed there were at least 10 people standing around in their driveways. I laughed all the way home and almost peed myself it was so funny.
btw… I’m 6’3”, 220lb. I shouldn’t even walk in flip-flops, let alone run. It’s just a good thing no one had a video camera.
