RakTrak Card Concept
So if you don’t know, the basic concept of this site is that you will do something to help someone and give them a card with a trak number on it. Then that person will come to the website, submit the code with a description of the RAK (Random Act of Kindness.)
Ok. Then that person takes the card and does a super awesome kind thing for someone else and… gives them the card. Starting to get the idea?

Random Acts of Kindness week is almost here. Take a moment to share how you plan to set kindness in motion.
Got some cool stuff coming soon. The tracking system is almost finished. We are just doing some final testing. Take a look at the screenshot for a sneek peek.
A buddy and I were at KFC and we decided to buy the lunch of the lady behind us in the drive-thru line. We will never know how it impacted her day or even life, but it was exciting. I can’t wait until raktrak cards are available so we can quit writing about what we did, and start reading how it effected the recipients of the kindness. Try going out of your way to look for acts of kindness to do in the next couple days. Trust me, it will feel good.
We want to thank everyone that has started following us on twitter. We are at 300 followers and going strong. Keep staying tuned to raktrak, because it’s going to get exciting.

Had to get a Random Act in before the end of day 1 2009. Grabbed a $20 gift card and walked around the store until I saw someone that I thought would appreciate it. They seemed very surprised when I asked them if I could give it to them. I hope it made a difference in their day. It sure did mine.
Should the slogan be:
1. Inspiring hearts that set kindness in motion
-or-
2. Inspiring hearts to set kindness in motion
What a dilemma.
What a slogan, huh? I think we are pretty happy with this one, or at least I am. It says it all in a very summed up sentence.
We are in the process of coming up with the catchy slogan that encompasses everything we do here at raktrak. Easier said than done. I think we have a couple good ideas that we can join and re-work to create something cool. Wish us luck.
Ok… we are running on the new system now and trying to work out the bugs. We know there are some missing images and possibly some broken links. This blog was always a temporary solution and we are very excited to launch some new community tools here at RakTrak.com.
