You could go within your own pantry and make a care package for a neighbor whom you know may be financially struggling.
(0)Add CommentsYou could babysit for a single mom who struggles to have a little down time to re-charge.
(0)Add CommentsThis method is indeed effective and moving, because you never know just how much the other person may have needed that kind act

Sneak a little special gift in a family members purse/lunch box or car reminding them how much you love them!
(0)Add CommentsI can’t take credit for this but my best friend and her rather large family did this with awesome results! They were on a mini family vacation and rented a condo for a few days. They were sharing the condo with another family so they were at full capacity with the majority of them being under the age of 12. The last day they were there, they stripped the beds and washed all the sheets and towels, mopped the floors, cleaned the bathrooms… you get the picture. Then they left a card with a tip for the housekeeping crew explaining that they had had such a wonderful time that they wanted to share some of their pleasure by doing the majority of the work for them. It turns out that housekeeping was one very overworked young woman who had pretty much lost her faith in people. My friend’s act of kindness literally changed this young woman’s life. A woman she had never met and probably never will. This woman emailed my friend and told her that her faith in the goodness of people had been restored and that she was going to look for opportunities to do something for other people. How awesome is that?!!
(0)Add CommentsHere is the best idea I have heard of:
This month's issue of Woman's Day featured the following article:
THEY GO BY FIRST NAMES ONLY and avoid recognition. Sounds like a group of secret agents, but they're actually 12 women in Lincoln, NE, who've made it their mission to provide help anonymously. As members of the Random Acts of Kindness group, these do-gooders meet monthly at rotating parties. Each person donates $20 (the host, $30) to help a stranger in need whom they've heard about from organizations, friends, word-of-mouth, or the local paper. The $250 is sent to the recipient with a note that simply reads, From 12 women who care. "Sometimes, people just need a little hope." The group was started in 2004.
Can you imagine the feeling in the heart of a person so in need when they open that envelope and find the $250.00. If the group was even bigger, each member would only need to donate $10 per month.
(0)Add CommentsIt is cold (somewhere) - imagine how nice it would be to give a homeless person a blanket to keep them warm.
(2)Add CommentsAlways carry a few inexpensive index cards with you. If you receive kind service from a server, cashier, greeter, or convenience store attendant; write a short note of appreciation and leave before they read it. When they find it, I guarantee they will continue the kind service on to the next person.
(0)Add CommentsIf the mother or father in line in front of you have children around them and in the cart, offer to empty their basket for them; two hands for the groceries and two on the kids! What a huge help!
(0)Add CommentsWhen someone says “Thank You,” try this: Instead of the standard “You’re Welcome,” say “My Pleasure” and mean it. I bet you’ll draw a huge smile.
(0)Add CommentsThe next time you head for the check-out stand at the grocery store or Walmart, grab a bouquet of daisies or carnations (very inexpensive). On your way out of the door, offer them to a stranger to keep for him/herself or to take home to their spouse.
(0)Add CommentsBuy gift card from a restaurant and give it to a stranger, a panhandler or a loved one. Your choice. Its all good.
(0)Add CommentsLeave a kind note or letter for a loved one to read today. Tell them “have a nice day, thanks for everything you do, I love you”, etc.
(0)Add CommentsWhen you are at a toll booth, offer to pay for the car behind you. As a matter of fact, you could pay for the 5 cars behind you, or 10, or 100, or…. well you get the picture.
(1)Add CommentsThe next time you are at a restaurant tip 100% of the bill. That will leave an impression.
(0)Add CommentsIf you have a close neighbor that doesn’t care too much about how his yard is mowed and just likes to get it done, get out there and start mowing. If you can time it to where they are gone that is even better.
(0)Add CommentsIf you are in line behind someone that is paying for groceries, step right on in there and pay for them. Using cash is the easiest way to make this happen. They may think you are weird for awhile, but they will get pass that.
(0)Add CommentsYou have seen someone on the side of the road struggling (changing a tire) as you zoom by thinking… man, I am glad that is not me. This time try stopping and asking them if they need help it could change their life, maybe even yours.
(0)Add CommentsIf you’re like me, the food you take home from a restaurant usually sits in your refrigerator until you throw it out. Give it to someone that really needs it while it’s still warm.
(0)Add CommentsPay for someone’s lunch behind you in the Drive-thru. Its a rush.
(0)Add CommentsStart the week off right. Tell a co-worker how much you appreciate them.
(0)Add CommentsCall a family member today just to say hi. *important - [before you say goodbye, tell them you love them]
